Who We Are
Thendoe Entrepreneurship Hub is a mission-driven incubation platform equipping college and university graduates in Africa with the entrepreneurial mindset, skills, and tools they need to transform their academic knowledge into thriving, job-creating businesses.
At Thendoe, our main focus is developing an entrepreneurial mindset — empowering graduates to move from being job seekers to becoming job creators. We believe that Africa’s graduates hold the potential to identify opportunities, close economic gaps, and design innovative solutions that drive both income generation and employment across the continent.
Through our six-month virtual incubation program, we guide participants step by step — from opportunity identification to business idea development, modeling, planning, product and service design, creation of a minimum viable product, funding applications, compliance, and ultimately business launch. By the end of the journey, graduates emerge ready to lead ventures that transform communities and strengthen African economies.

Thendoe Entrepreneurship Hub is more than an initiative — it is a personal mission driven by my commitment to addressing Africa’s youth unemployment crisis.
Growing up in Beitbridge, Zimbabwe, I witnessed the struggles of young people who, despite being educated, struggled to access meaningful opportunities. That reality shaped my determination to create a solution that could unlock real economic change.
As an alumna of the African Leadership Academy and a current Economics & Finance student at the University of Cape Town, I have spent years cultivating the knowledge, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills necessary to launch this vision. At ALA, I learned that impactful change begins with empowering others — a principle that inspired me to establish Thendoe Hub.
Our goal is simple yet powerful: to provide graduates with the mentorship, resources, and support they need to turn innovative ideas into successful businesses. We see a unique opportunity not only to combat unemployment but to spark a wave of entrepreneurship that transforms entire communities across Africa.

Since our founding in 2024, Thendoe Hub has been dedicated to empowering graduates to become job creators across Africa. Building on our early initiatives in Zimbabwe, we are expanding our reach to the SADC region with a strong focus on scaling impact and nurturing entrepreneurial talent.
Our upcoming January 2025 cohort marks an exciting new chapter — stronger, bolder, and more pan-African than ever, as we continue to transform ideas into income and employment generating ventures.
